“Syntax and Semantics of the Nominal Domain” is a workshop covering the major aspects of nominal modification in line with the topics of the graduate school. The talks address the internal syntactic structure of nominal phrases, interpretative aspects of modification, as well as issues concerning the processing and acquisition of nominal expressions.

The workshop consists of talks by invited speakers and PhD students of the graduate school.

The workshop will take place in the Seminarhaus on Campus Westend, Room 5.101 and 5.105.
The Seminarhaus is marked with the number “19” on this Map of Campus Westend.

How to reach the campus (from the central station)

  • By subway: go to Hauptwache by one of the S-Bahn lines S1-S9, then get on one of the U-Bahn lines U1, U2, U3 or U8 to get to Holzhausenstraße; from there, the Seminarhaus is about 10 minutes by foot.
  • By bus: take bus line 64 to Bremer Straße; from there, the Seminarhaus is about 5 minutes by foot.
  • By taxi: give Max-Horkheimer-Strasse as your destination.
